The last time I ate this claypot laksa was actually many years ago before the old HDB building which houses the coffee shop which is famous for this particular claypot laksa stall. It used to be very famous and you need to wait for like 30mins if you're lucky, if not 45mins to 1hour.

Recently, I've been visiting Depot Heights Shopping Centre frequently for my wrist's therapy. So I decided to go for the long famous claypot laksa. It wasn't as famous and crowded as before.

As you can see from the picture above, it is pipping hot and almost flowing over the claypot. They are rather generous with the ingredients especially the cockles. It's like 1 big spoonful of it.

Noodle Choice:
1. yellow Noodle
2. Thick Beehoon
3. Generic Beehoon

Laksa Base
As usual, the pipping hot base is what you get but if my memory serves me well, the laksa base is not longer as thick and aromatic as before. Or maybe it is due to my changing preference because I now prefer katong laksa.

Prawn
Sadly, the prawns used ain't fresh at all. There is zero crunchiness and the meat feels rather powdery after biting it.

Personal Rating: 8/10 (Ain't bad, it is a must-try place for either people who have not tried such dish or people who haven't ate this famous dish for a long time. Nostalgic.)
