Mum recommended me about this particular good western shop @ Alexndra Village, so I Decided to head over to Alexandra Village to buy back some dinner home to consume when enjoying my animes. What turns me on mainly are the side dishes. No typical baked beans, choselaw or fries. Instead, the side dishes are Potato wedges/ Crisscut fries and Fruit Salad. YES! I love them. The food there are served nicely. The placement and lay-out is really good for a food centre western store standard.

Chicken Chop

Pretty decent quantity and it goes very well with the in-house BBQ sauce. The skin is rather roasted and slightly crispy. Just too good to put them aside. The meat is defined and tender. Hardly any fats around like typical western stalls' chicken chop. I would say that it is slightly better than Astons.

Personal Rating: 8.9/10 (The western store at Adam's Road Food Centre during the olden days is still the best. I can eat up 2 sets of chicken chop and 1 set of mixed grill when I have the craving.)

Chicken Gordon Bleu

Breaded Chicken with Ham and Cheese wrapped inside. What can I say? EXPLOSIVE!

Inside of Chicken Gordon Bleu

It is smoking hot and the cheese oozes out when I cut it open. It goes great with either their in-house BBQ sauce that comes with it or the mayonnaise by the side.

*Pardon me for the bad picture quality because I'm consuming them in front of my monitor in my dark cosy room.

Grilled Fish with Spaghetti

Fish grilled nicely with a tad of smokey sensation. Most importantly, there is fishiness smell(yu xin wei), showing that the fish is both fresh and the sauce accompanying it is superb. Served with a generous portion of spaghetti bolognese sided with some BBQ sauce. Whats more to ask for at a cheap hawker centre pricing?
