I am currently in the midst of building impedance adapters and this is my first prototype. Still experimenting with other components.

Smooths out the highs and lows and makes the vocals more engaging.
Transportable: iRiver h120(2300mAh)→Sysconcept Optical Cable→AOS Electornics Co. Piccolo DAC→ahdui's CryoFreeze™ TCu IC→ahdui's Enfo PA-1→Custom Shure SE530
Backup: AMB y-1 DAC (MisterX Mod)


Cycling: Sansa Clip 4GB→Philips SHS3200 Earhooks
Portable: Rio Karma→UltimateEars Super.Fi 5eb
Backup Rig: RedWineAudio 40GB iPod Photo→ahdui's CryoFreeze™ RBT IC→iBasso P3 Heron(ahdui Mod) →Custom Shure SE530

 Hey, I was thinking, since we are on changeable cables on the IEMs now, it might actually be able to build it into the cable? Any drawbacks of doing that?

+/- 1% tolerance Resistors
Neutrik Stereo Male 1/8" jack
Stereo Female 1/8" socket

Next will be using higher grade female 1/8" socket and +/- 0.5% audiophile grade Vishay Dale resistors.

The 75ohm Impedance Adapter v2.
- Cryo-enforced grounding
- Higher Grade Input jack (Japan grade Nickel)
- Higher Grade 1/8" jack (neutrik Nickel)
- Matched Resistors (Vishay-Dale 0.5% tolerance)

The v2 is slightly longer, only a few millimeters longer(2-3). It sounds rather similar with lesser loss on the details and a better bass re-production.
