Posts: 5,258 Group: Administrator Member #1 Joined: 15 October 2006	Yesterday night, flu_fighter and I decided to meet up with Ryner and his girlfriend since we are all nearby and since we have not tried shokudo, we met up at raffles city to take our late late dinner (near 10pm) The concept of Shokudo is just like Village(mache) where you walk around inside and purchase whatever you want to eat from different "stalls". Here's the floor plan which I've taken from their website. Ryner and his girlfriend ordered some Omu Rice Set (Tomato Rice). My brother have also tried it and they all commented that it is very nice. Ham and Egg Omelette Let's focus on this dish first. I must say that it is really nicely done. Soft, smooth and very tasty. Usually omelette that are done nicely (soft and watery) will still take a little of the raw taste but this dish doesn't. As I bite on it, the cheese burst out with small bits of ham along it. Together with the generous spread of Katsuobushi (Fish shavings), the taste is just too good to describe. Personal Rating: 9/10 Rosti with Sausage It comes with sour cream but I prefer spamming chilli sauce over my rosti. The rosti is pretty nicely done. A little crisp on the outside leaving the middle parts moist and juicy. It could be better if yellow potato is used and the outside layer could be better improved. The sausage on the other hand, is done correctly. Soft and tender unlike most which are rubbery and stubborn. Personal Rating: 7.8/10 Teriyaki Chicken Pizza This dish is quite a disappointment as it is really dry. Waraku's Teriyaki Chicken Pizza wins it hands down anytime. The meat dried up pretty badly and it got tough. Something which you guys should avoid. Personal Rating: 3/10 Asahi's Mitsuya Cider Feeling a little thirsty and yet wanna feel like Ryoma Echizen? It can be bought at the drinks stall at a rather pricey tag ($3.90) but well, brings back memories of Prince of Tennis!

It tasted rather sickening because it is about 70% cooked while good tasting rosti should be around 90% cooked. The butter used is also on the excessive side. As usual, I ordered the egg omelette and it still taste as good. Quail Eggs wrapped in Bacon Prawns wrapped in Bacon The BBQ-ed sticks are very nice and the prices are pretty reasonable.
