Bought it because of the topology and also of the nice looking aluminium chassis with the high grade components used. Sounods great so far, yet to pass the 500 hour benchmark. But really gets hot after like 20minutes.

Callsign Maverick Posts: 812 Group: Global Moderator Member #3 Joined: 15 October 2006	I don't really have nothing to compare with.. except an old Creative soundcard which I use with KXDrivers due to it being able to handle ASIO streaming... Compared to that.. or my Sansa Fuze.. the soundstage's much wider on my DT990s, and bass has a pretty good slam, although I believe much of that is credited to the headphones itself. Very good build quality and nice quality components used, very neat PCB design and looks good as well. Use it to preamp to my active 2.0 speakers and they sound really good, take in mind that I am listening to using the Earth HDAM. Have another Moon HDAM but that one only has a few hours of use on it lol. Going to get myself familiarised with how the Earth HDAM sounds first before moving on to another.
