Do note that this modded drivers is only for Realtek HD. I've personally tried it, right before i attempt to install Realtek HD R2.19 phew*. After installing the modded drivers (Realtek X-Fi), the sound quality is indeed much clearer. However, the mids seems to be quite engaging and the sound is a little grainy. Hardware still plays a big part in sound quality still. Posts: 9 Group: Members Member #2,183 Joined: 8 August 2009	I'm looking at a better driver set than the one currently offered on the Envy24 website. The original driver that come with the soundcard was plenty good but after an upgrade to the latest version, I lost bass and sound stage narrowed..I'm not able to roll back to the original driver despite removing manually from registry and removing all installed files.
