From Flux-Us:
Dear Haven-ites,

To celebrate our first month of existence at #04-17, Flux Us is pleased
to offer a selection of experimental music cds to be given away (in
pairs) to those deemed lucky/worthy. These cds are from a variety of
artists across Asia, Australasia and Europe and include special
homemade CDRs which were released in very small quantities. The music
contained therein includes ambient electronica, improvised noise,
field recordings etc.

What they all have in common is the fact that they explore (via
electronic and/or electro-acoustic means) the materiality of SOUND,
utilising SILENCE and/or SPACE to explore colour, texture and various
psycho-acoustic properties. In the process this challenges
conventional notions of the relationship between sound and music. All
that said, none of the above would matter one iota if they did not
sound good!!!! Given the often quiet and exploratory nature of the
recordings, this would make them perfect bedfellows with a great set
of headphones/in-ears (courtesy of Jaben, of course).

So get in on the action and get yourselves acquainted (for free some
more) with tr00 HEAD musick!!!

Cheers,

Harold and Joseph
