At this moment in time, what I prefer after listening through the MS 1 and 2... I prefer the sound from MS1. I love the easy flowing direct music and find it simply enjoyable. Perhaps it's because I find it more different from the DT990 that I have. Yes, I do agree that the MS2 is a great headphone and better still a MS Pro. Like I told Uncle Wilson, I love the Beyers can but felt the weight of wearing it for prolong periods not too comfortable for me (and I know many will disagree becos they will feel Beyers are amongst the more comfortable cans.) Let's just say my neck muscles are lazy. Moreover and thankfully, MS1 is also easier on the wallet as you have most correctly put it. lol. Wishing all Merry Christmas and wonderful festive fun days.

Even though I have not got my own Alessandro, I just have to get a MS1 after some listening sessions at Jaben. It will be a most fun pair of cans for carefree enjoyment of the easy flowing music when I do not want to go into details and soundstage. My Beyers already satisfied that need for me, at least for now. I love the neutral (not as bright as Grado) but forward sounding music from an MS1. I like the light weight and also the simple retro look. I very much appreciate that it is still priced rather affordably for the power sound that it packs. When amped with an Xtra X1, it sounds wonderful with most genres of music. Once I get mine sometime soon, I believe more appreciation will be felt and then shared. (oops, i hope im not whack frm MSPro users, with due respect)
